A great October weekend doing via ferratas in the Alps. We got fantastic weather the whole time.
Started out climbing high above the lake around Altaussee, with some airy sections along the ridge and clear views down over the valley. Then headed up Dachstein, following the steel cables up the steep rock faces to an amazing panorama over the glacier and the peaks. Wrapped things up on Sunday hiking the trails below the limestone ridges. Couldn't have asked for better autumn conditions.
