A few days hiking around the Dolomites with Mundo. We got great weather for it, with clear views across to the Marmolada glacier and sheer limestone faces everywhere we turned.
We started with chairlifts up above the tree line, then followed narrow trails winding along grassy ridges and high scree slopes. The contrasts up there are wild—one minute you're walking through meadows full of yellow wildflowers looking down at lush green valleys, and the next you're crunching through pure rock and moonscapes above tiny turquoise lakes. Great trails and non-stop views the whole way through.
